"Vision Quest" Rich in color and texture, "Vision Quest" stands 21" high. She is a assemblage of irridescent abalone shards, amber glass mosaic pieces, and chunks of tumbled amythest glass, laid against a background of plum vintage silk velvet. Embellished with pearls, beads and metallic netting, she steps forward in a dance of transformation, symbolized by shed snake skin that covers her arms and frames her face. Swirls of color, pattern and shape lure us to the tip of her fingers as she looks into her vision....the vision of dreams. |
