Measuring about 9" around, and 10-1/2" high,
the faerie kneels and holds the babe in a wrapping of silk netting.

Hand sculpted and hand-painted, this piece is costumed
in antique metallic lace, a very delicate silk netting
from an antique bridal veil, and embellished
with antique bead trim, nine jade leaves
and silver and gold micro beads.

The base is a circle of rose wood.
The faerie's wings are beaded green
with a wash of silver paint.
